This course guides radiologists in determining indications for the different abdominal and pelvic imaging modalities, as well as indications for secondary imaging studies. This is achieved by providing an d review of state-of-the-art imaging methods and evidence-based practice in CT, MRI and US as they pertain to the gastrointestinal and genitourinary systems.

  • Apply the ACR recommendations for managing incidental CT-scan findings in the kidney, liver, adrenal gland and pancreas
  • Identify indications for the use of different imaging modalities (CT/MRI/US) for various abdominal-pelvic organs and conditions
